1. Early Magazine Covers
The early magizine covers were ALOT more plane that what we see now. if we saw it not knowin it was a magizine cover, wed think it got riped off and we were seeing the table of contents. The covers in the 1800s to the 1700s tended to modle the cover off of book covers. all it had was a title and a punlication title. there was no description on what the magizine was about so ur lookin at it not knowin what its even about.
2. The Poster Cover
the poster covers started comein out in the 1890s to the 1960s. the poster cover dominated the field at the time and it produced so many memorbial covers on issues of the time. the covers were sometimes over sized and tended to look like it was printed and u should hang it onthe wall. there was no cover lines or a theme. Its ushaly a big artistic picture with a statement with mayve a few words and the cover name.
3. Pictures Married to Type
A cover type usushaly has a large title with the models face overlappin the model needs to have a full body pose. The cover lines on all sides of her are carefully positioned in with the model and the backround.this stared to make what we see in covers not. it has text around the model or subject and gives u a hint of what you r goin to read about in the magizine.
