first real photojournalism assignment

Doin this photo shoot was difficult because most of the students that i was shooting dint want to have a picture taken of them and once they got used to me in the room they got over it. And it was a good place to get an academic shoot because they were doin a lab in biology and it was funny captering their emotion of how attched some of the stuedents were to the eggs they were goin the experment on..?
i had some problems withthe lightin and left wondering if i had the setting right on the camera so i could get a good picture in the end. And i wanted to try to fill the frame as much as possible with what was goin on and attemped to rule of three which i dont understand so i dont think that worked. Other than that it was a good and fun first shoot on my own.

framing

frameing is the center of interest with objects in the foreground. In this photo the boxes are surronding the man, frameing him so ur attchen is goin stright to him. It makes you feel traped like this man feels right now.

Balance

The two soldiers balance out this picture. Good balance is simply the arrangement of shapes, colors, or areas of light and dark. The colors in this photo all goes together withthe red whit and blue in the center also in the backround.

lines

this is the trick is called lines. You can use lines to provide a way into the picture.

rule of thirds

The techniqe used in the photo is the rule of thirds. You cant see it its split in to thirds and ur eye is naturaly drawn tothe man in the corrnor, even with everything that is goin on around him.

Simplicity

Simplicity is used in this photo. Use this techniue by selecting a uncomplicated background that will not steal attention from your subjects. The subject here is the destruction that has happend and theres no people to distract you from the mess.
